Hi Sam,

I'm applying for the Founding Engineer role. Short version: I ship fast, I'm
obsessive about the customer, and I've done 0-to-1 before.

At my last startup I was employee \#4 and the first backend engineer. I wrote
the initial API, launched paid onboarding in under three months, and watched
it scale to \$2M ARR before I left. Before that I spent three years at Stripe
owning the billing pipeline.

Three reasons I want to work at your company specifically: (1) the rates
problem you're solving is a category I've thought about for years; (2) I love
the product --- I've been a paying user since your launch; (3) I have worked
with two of your engineers before and they are exactly the kind of people I
